Scientists investigating the Sept. 11, 2001 collapse
of the twin towers said, "the World Trade Center towers showed
telltale signs they were about to collapse several minutes before
each crumbled to the ground." There
would not be telltale
signs if it was explosives (Controlled Demolition) that
caused the buildings to collapse.

Several minutes before the WTC buildings collapsed, the structures of the buildings were clearly failing and the exterior steel columns could be seen buckling. This simply would not be happening if explosives caused the collapse because explosives don't go off in slow motion for several minutes. Explosives don't slowly buckle steel columns over several minutes.
Obviously, the way an actual controlled explosion happens is the explosives all go off in a matter of seconds. There simply would not be warning signs that the buildings were about to be demolished by explosives, it would of course just suddenly happen. But that is not what happened, the buildings did not suddenly collapse without any indications that they would. Instead, the fires were compromising the structural integrity of the buildings and the buildings' support structures failed. Exterior columns buckled because the fires weakened the floor trusses and the floors sagged. The sagging floors pulled on intact column connections so as the floors sagged down, they pulled the exterior columns inward. This inward bowing of the exterior columns was evident to observers such as the police helicopters circling the towers.
"The NYPD aviation unit reported critical information about the impending collapse of the buildings." They could see that the exterior steel beams of the buildings were bowing. You can see the inward bowing of the steel columns in pictures of both WTC 2, (the first building to collapse) and WTC 1 (the second building to collapse.)
Dr. Shyam Sunder, lead investigator for NIST's building
and fire safety investigation into the WTC disaster, said, "While the
buildings were able to withstand the initial impact of the aircraft,
the resulting fires that spread through the towers weakened support
columns and floors that had fireproofing dislodged by the impacts.
This eventually led to collapse as the perimeter columns were pulled
inward by the sagging floors and buckled." "The reason the towers
collapsed is because the fireproofing was dislodged," according to Sunder.
If the fireproofing had remained in place, Sunder said, the fires would
have burned out and moved on without weakening key elements to the point

Findings From NIST World Trade Center Investigation Released
"According to Shyam Sunder, the concave bowing of the steel
was seen on the sides of the towers opposite where the planes
hit them. At 10:06 a.m. that morning, an officer in a police helicopter
reported that ``it's not going to take long before the north tower comes
down.'' This was 20 minutes before it collapsed. In another radio transmission
at 10:21 a.m., the officer said he saw
buckling in the north tower's southern face, Shyam Sunder
said."

We have an unacceptable risk to our nation because of
specific foreign policies. People who promote these erroneous 9/11 theories
undermine efforts to get the focus on stopping these foreign policies.
We must take a serious look at the
motives for the 9/11 attacks and call for a full review of the specific
foreign policies that motivate terrorists to attack us. I see a lot
of people are spreading this "controlled demolition" theory, I also
notice they don't talk about ending the foreign policies. Please

an inside job" or "The WTC collapsed because of explosives" really screw
up efforts to stop the specific foreign policies that put our nation
at risk. These false theories undermine serious efforts to get foreign

support for Israel. I suspect more than a few people pushing these
false theories are very happy to misdirect the American public away
from questioning specific foreign policies like U.S.
support for Israel. (It is the main policy of the
foreign policies that motivated the 9/11 terrorists. The plotter

angry at the U.S. not because of his experiences here as a student,
but rather because of the U.S. foreign policy favoring Israel.)

9/11 Controlled Demolition Theory Debunked

In the case of the north tower, police chopper pilots reported seeing
the warning signs - an inward bowing of the building facade - at least
eight minutes before it collapsed at 10:29 a.m.
But emergency responders inside the tower never got the order to evacuate
due to faulty communications equipment and garbled lines of command,
investigators with the National Institute of Standards and Technology
said in its second interim report on the collapse's causes.
"The NYPD aviation unit reported critical information about the impending
collapse of the buildings," lead investigator Shyam Sunder said at a
presentation in midtown.
"[If] that information would have been communicated faster to all of
the emergency responders in the buildings, it could have helped save
lives," he said.
Engineers believe the bowing of the exterior steel beams near the flame-engulfed
floors was the critical "triggering point" because that's the direction
each tower tilted as it came crashing down.
The findings that emergency responders could have been warned about
the imminent collapse angered some victims' relatives, who were already
fuming about the 9/11 Commission's report on Thursday that government
foulups contributed to the chaos on that fateful day.
"Eight to 10 minutes could have meant life for so many people," said
Sally Regenhard, whose son, Christian, was a probationary firefighter
who died in the collapse.
"We had no integrated command structure, so that the Police Department
was unable to communicate the fact that the building was going to collapse
to the Fire Department," she said. "It's a knife in the heart of the
relatives of the victims."

What if they were Jews? The CIA actively supported the 1963 coup that brought the Ba'ath party to power and the CIA made lists of people it labeled as communists and gave these lists to "the submachine gun-toting Iraqi National Guardsmen". The people on these CIA lists were "jailed, interrogated, and summarily gunned down, according to former U.S. intelligence officials with intimate knowledge of the executions." Many suspected communists were killed outright, these sources said. Darwish told UPI that the mass killings, presided over by Saddam, took place at Qasr al-Nehayat, literally, the Palace of the End. Sure, some people were rounded up and shot but these were mostly communists so that didn't bother us". Think about this: What if they were Jews that were rounded up and shot? What if it was Jews whose names we handed over to be killed? Would it be seen as a serious event? Would it be pursued? Would there be a call for prosecution of those responsible? I hope this comparison can help people start to understand the degree of evil perpetrated by US foreign policies? This is just one example. Does substitution "Jews" in place of "Iraqis" or "Communists" help you understand the degree of evil that US policy makers are responsible for? Are you going to do something now to make a call for justice? "Nazi hunters" worked for decades after the initial crimes of the murderers and facilitators of the deaths of Jews. Just because in the above case those murdered were not Jews but Iraqis and the murders were not Nazis party members but Ba'ath party members and the collaborators were Americans and not Europeans, does that mean you sit on your ass right now and do nothing? I think that if most people realized someone who was responsible for the deaths of Jews had not be brought to justice they would demand something be done about it. Barsamian: I interviewed Eqbal Ahmad in August,
1998, a couple of weeks after the Clinton cruise missile attacks on Afghanistan
and Sudan, which were, according to the U.S., in response to the bombings
of the U.S. embassies in Tanzania and in Kenya. And he said, "Osama
bin Laden is a sign of things to come." I asked him to explain. And
he responded," The U.S. has sowed in the Middle East and in South
Asia very poisonous seeds. These seeds are growing now. Some have ripened
and others are ripening. An examination of why they were sown, what has
grown, and how they should be reaped is needed. Missiles won’t solve
the problem." Noam Chomsky: That’s a very perceptive statement, expanding what he had pointed out much earlier. By now there is quite good analytic literature on how they developed. The best book on that is by a British investigator, Jason Burke,  called Al-Qaeda.
He confirms in detail what Eqbal predicted. He reviews a whole series
of acts in the development of al-Qaeda. Al-Qaeda is not an organization;
it’s a loose network of very loosely affiliated, mostly independent
organizations that have a kind of a similar ideology. He calls it a network
of networks. And as Eqbal predicted, it became a major symbol and bin
Laden himself became a major symbol as a result of these bombings. Before,
it hadn’t been. Take a look at Richard Clarke’s book. He says the same thing about U.S. intelligence. Until 1998, there was no special attention to al-Qaeda or bin Laden. They were kind of marginal factors. In fact, they didn’t even use the word al-Qaeda. But, yes, Eqbal is correct. What Burke points out is that every single U.S. act of violence has been a very welcome gift to bin Laden. He says, every use of violence is a small victory for bin Laden.
